Taiwan Adventure Time~

After trying to read a sign (that apparently said not to go into the sunflower field), Ang and I went into the flower field and took some pics. Great Chinese reading skills right here.

It broke my heart to see A Ma (Ah Ma) so sick and fragile.... I kept calling her name and I hope she heard me. Before I left, I kissed her on the forehead again and my heart hurt so much. I wish she wasn't in so much pain. Love you A Ma.

The city is so beautiful at night-everyone is out and about and much Christmas spirit was in the air =)

Haha we tried so many times to get a good photo of all of us but it turned out blurry each time-oh wells! I love my cousin :)

During our sight seeing day, we saw some monkeys chilling on the road-it was pretty cool. I was afraid they would suddenly attack me though.

 This was my first time eating macarons!! (other than the horrible ones I attempted to make a while ago) These were so delish...no wonder people are so crazy over them. My cousins were so nice and bought these treats for us-thanks!!

I haven't become comfortable with the manual lens yet (noob status) but I really like this portrait pic of Ang.

Upon arriving in Portland, Oregon, I woke up to some frost :) The plane ride home was surprisingly shorter than I thought though we almost missed our next connecting flight! aiya!

$760 in Taiwanese dollars of course! I saw a bunch of these wooden (handmade?) music boxes at the airport...they were so delightful. I wish I could have bought one! I liked this one in particular because it reminded me of Dumbo =]

These are just a couple of the (ahem) 900 pictures I took over the span of 9 days. The pics turned out a bit grainy but thank goodness for editing haha! These are the pics I have edited so far :) On a side note, I will plan to start over on the 365 day photo challenge since I fell behind so much!! HI JESS :)
