Taiwan Adventure Time~

Candid of Mumma Fong at the airport on the way to Taiwan. I swear I've never seen her this joyful before. It made me so happy :)

After trying to read a sign (that apparently said not to go into the sunflower field), Ang and I went into the flower field and took some pics. Great Chinese reading skills right here.

It broke my heart to see A Ma (Ah Ma) so sick and fragile.... I kept calling her name and I hope she heard me. Before I left, I kissed her on the forehead again and my heart hurt so much. I wish she wasn't in so much pain. Love you A Ma.

The city is so beautiful at night-everyone is out and about and much Christmas spirit was in the air =)

Haha we tried so many times to get a good photo of all of us but it turned out blurry each time-oh wells! I love my cousin :)

During our sight seeing day, we saw some monkeys chilling on the road-it was pretty cool. I was afraid they would suddenly attack me though.

 This was my first time eating macarons!! (other than the horrible ones I attempted to make a while ago) These were so delish...no wonder people are so crazy over them. My cousins were so nice and bought these treats for us-thanks!!

I haven't become comfortable with the manual lens yet (noob status) but I really like this portrait pic of Ang.

Upon arriving in Portland, Oregon, I woke up to some frost :) The plane ride home was surprisingly shorter than I thought though we almost missed our next connecting flight! aiya!

$760 in Taiwanese dollars of course! I saw a bunch of these wooden (handmade?) music boxes at the airport...they were so delightful. I wish I could have bought one! I liked this one in particular because it reminded me of Dumbo =]

These are just a couple of the (ahem) 900 pictures I took over the span of 9 days. The pics turned out a bit grainy but thank goodness for editing haha! These are the pics I have edited so far :) On a side note, I will plan to start over on the 365 day photo challenge since I fell behind so much!! HI JESS :)

Super frustrated at the moment...fell asleep on my bed scrolling through instagram (what's new), didn't do so hot on my online quiz, had a huge argument with the dad, super hungry, and still have to finish my power point presentation for English class tomorrow, er technically today, and I don't know squat about my topic even though I spent a good 4 hours last night researching it..oh, did I mention the horrific acne on my face? Yes, I'm breaking out like there's no tomorrow I don't have the slightest idea as to why. Thanks skin. You're real good to me. Ang and I have officially decided that we are going to plan to move out. Too much tension and issues between us and the dad...we need some space. I guess it's safe to spill the beans here cause no one really reads these posts, so yeah. Talked to a good friend of ours who has had experience with moving out and I already know it's going to be difficult living independently, but if it's what it takes to make peace between us all...then I guess we'll do it....Wish me luck to finish this power point sucker...Ugh

It's about 3:30 am and the only reason I'm just getting into bed is because I fell asleep at my laptop again...slumping... I need to stop doing that because it's bad for my back. My dad just came back and all I hear is him yelling at my mom... Why is he always so angry and full of resentment?? My mom doesn't deserve any of this..

Teacher had jury duty so my last class was cancelled HOOray! lol. was so tempted to opt of starting the 500 minute cardio challenge but i started today! only thing is that the first 40 minutes, i forgot to log...fail T__T so, i'm at 10  minutes wooo

Took my first college exam today for my world religions class...my gosh it was 100 questions plus 15 extra credit ones....very tiresome. i must say that my brain is totally pooped :p read this as i was peeing...made me laugh a bit hahaha yay for comic relief

Today is study saturday!! although...i spent a good portion of it napping...dunno why i was so shleeeppyy Z___z i don't see myself getting much sleep tonight or tomorrow night..huge religions exam coming up and i'm so screwedd. I looked over to Joe's room (which will hopefully get cleaned up soon -__-), and saw this beam of light coming through the blinds. It was so pretty :o

Eeep...today was alright. I didn't have my second class which was nice but I ended up going home and spending the rest of my afternoon doing my online assignments before babysitting....i'm super pooped T___T i have this weekend's work cut out for me....ugh. super pissed i left my binder at school too...3 classes worth of notes! but i bought this eco-friendly shower head for 5 bucks! I was intending to spend those 5 five bucks on a drink but i ended up walking past these girls promoting their club and cause and decided my drink could wait another day. excited to try this out-it apparently reduces 20% usage of water when showering..

Today, I didn't have any classes but i still came to school -___- the first class got cancelled and i didn't even find out till i actually went to the building..ugh. emails are my obligatory bff from now on. But I sat inside the COOR building for the first time-yay for air conditioning!! and did some work on the imac yee i wish i had one. but i ended up staying at school from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm just so i could go to my club meeting, which only lasted like 15 minutes but! it was strange cause I saw a girl from my old high school in PA there!! i wonder what brings her here! kinda cool to see a familiar face even though she doesn't know me at all.. haha awk

What better way to start out the week than with rain....woot woot. There was a serious downpour and so many places on campus were flooded! even with an umbrella the bottom half of my legs and both my shoes were completely soaked...yay for soggy socks :P I even saw people just take off their shoes and walk across campus barefoot lol. But! the sun decided to come out after the rain and it was super nice :)

After work, sis and I went treated our friend to Chompies!! I've never heard of this place nor have I ever seen it, but then again, i'm kinda blind..soo,...nonetheless the food was pretty delish! and i loved the interior!! Go east coast woot woot!!

UGHHHH and the long nights of doing online assignments begin... it's gonna be a long semester...for this Religion 100 class anyway. I hope that I can survive...i anticipate loads of busy work and the urge to shoot myself in the foot. We had to examine and analyze the Rig Veda-read it about 10 times but nothing stayed in my head really -sigh- today was a tiring and meh day to say the least. also saving up money to buy a long board :P

Awwwwhhh Look at my wittle baby looking up at me :) hahaah she's too cute when she does this. I love it. I am certain that she doesn't really like me, but when she does little things like nudging me with her snout to pet her, I feel loved. Sad, right?
